  1.  Channel Reset
    1. Why do you need to reset your channels?
      1. To get new/ updated channels
      2. If you are unable to find your desired channel
      3. If channel name mismatches with channel list
      4. If you see a blank screen
    2. How to reset channels from DWN Remote Control?
      1. Simple press “Reset” button
      2. Press “OK” button
      3. Your DWN receiver will automatically restart/reboot
      4. Then starts scanning all channels
      5. And finally auto-save all scanned channels
  2. No Signal
    This message is displayed when your DWN receiver does not receive signals from DWN transmission center.
    1. What to check?
      1. First of all check if your antenna cable is connected to DWN receiver to ANT OUT on the back side of the receiver.
      2. Check if the antenna cable is inserted properly.
      3. iii. Check if the antenna cable is connected properly to the LNB on roof top.
      4. Check the direction of the antenna:
        1. Karachi Customer – antenna towards Shaheen Complex (Near Jang Press)
        2. Lahore Customers – antenna towards LDA Plaza, Egerton Road
        3. Islamabad Customers – antenna towards Daman-e-Koh
  3. Setting Signal/ Antenna Direction
    How to check your signal strength?
      1. From your DWN remote control press “Info” button
      2. Then you will see the “Red Bar” on your TV screen that shows the strength of the signal
      3. If there is no “Red Bar” on your TV screen that means you are not getting signals from DWN transmission center.
    1. How to set/ align your antenna direction to get signals?
      1. To get signals you need to change the direction of your antenna towards:
        1. Karachi Customer – LNB towards Shaheen Complex (Near Jang Press)
        2. Lahore Customers – LNB towards LDA Plaza, Egerton Road
        3. Islamabad Customers – LNB towards Daman-e-Koh
      2. To get clear picture on your TV you need 45% “Red Bar/ Signals” from transmission center
  4. Insert Smart Card/ Wrong Smart Card
    This message is displayed when:
      1. DWN Smart Card is not present/ inserted in your DWN receiver
      2. DWN Smart Card’s chip is damaged
      3. DWN Smart Card’s chip is unreadable
      4. DWN Smart Card is inserted upside down
      5. DWN Smart Card’s chip is at outer side
    1.  How to fix the “Insert Smart Card” problem
      1. Check DWN Smart Card’s chip is not damaged/ scratched
      2. Clean the chip of your DWN Smart Card with rubber eraser/ dry cloth
      3. DWN Smart Card’s chip should be facing downward while inserting
      4. Chip side will enter first in the card slot of DWN receiver
      5. Now insert DWN Smart Card into DWN receiver
      6. If same message remains on your TV screen please contact 111-222-333
  5. Unauthorized Program
    This message comes when:
      1. Your account is inactive due to non-payment
    1. How to fix this problem:
      1. Pay your subscription
      2. If problem persists please contact 111-222-333
  6. Weak Signal
    Why do you get weak signals?
      1. Direction of your antenna is not correct
      2. Cable between antenna and receiver is damaged/ broken
      3. Cable connectors are not fixed properly
      4. Out of DWN coverage area
    1. How to get required signals to view all channels?
      1. Ensure your premises is in the DWN coverage area
      2. Check  your antenna RG6 cable is not damaged
      3. Check your both connectors of antenna cable at DWN receiver and LNB are in good condition and fixed properly
  7. Power Problem
    Please check your DWN receiver is ON and front panel lights are ON
    1. In case of No Power, please check the power switch at the back side of the receiver, power outlet and power cable
    2. If problem persists please contact 111-222-333
  8. Channel Freezing/ Broken Audio or Video/ Blank Screen
    Above problem may be because of following reasons:
    1. Your antenna is not connected properly
    2. Signal is weak in your area
    3. Bad cable and/or cable connector
    4. Due to bad weather
    5. DWN transmission center is not receiving good quality from satellite/ other source
    6. There may be EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) in your area
  9. USB Recording
    You can record your favorite programs using DWN receiver’s USB recording function
    1. Plug in your USB/ Flash drive into DWN receiver’s given USB port
    2. Press “Start” button on DWN Remote Control to start recording in your USB/ Flash drive
    3. Press “Stop” button on DWN Remote Control to stop and save your program
    4. You can record any program as per the capacity of your USB/Flash drive
    5. Enjoy your recorded program as many times as you want with Rewind, Forward and Pause functions.
